However, if you slowly become a master of illusion yourself, you cannot escape a slight feeling of dizziness. With no alternatives, you grow beyond yourself, leave others behind and ask yourself: When will the beginning become more than just a premonition of something bigger? Will you remain the child of your dreams or will you mature into a true pioneer?

Perhaps this initial magic is just a cheap sleight of hand to keep a whole world of great achievements from most people. In fact, it is a curse, a trap, a labyrinth, a challenge to master each phase of transcendence before a new door opens as soon as you no longer expect it.

With that in mind: Welcome to a special edition of “6, Heat & Rock’n’Roll – 12 Strings in Delirium! In summer you don’t need preheating candles, just water, and woe betide anyone who struggles for even a moment, because your thoughts rust into worthless gold dust and are blown onto bored white facades as a memorial with the next storm.

When it gets hot, a change of perspective only helps to a certain extent. You have to do something, because only sweat in the air stream of artistic movement brings truly rewarding cooling.

If you don’t mind the heat though, you can concentrate fully on art and put the result in the service of people.

The “Big Man Session”

In 2016, the blu12 song “Big Man” was created as a tribute to my good friend Todd from California. A long journey began with him in 2003, which is not insignificant for my development, the creation of blu12 and my approach to 12-string guitars. The “Big Man” is currently facing the great challenges of life again and I am sending some strength and motivation with a music video. If it weren’t for the music, you probably wouldn’t be reading these lines. If I can achieve even a fraction of that for others with my music, that is the greatest joy for me.

So enjoy my “Big Man Session“, recorded on the “Endless Sunset Stage” with an absolute premiere: Mr. Rockalicious rocks as a “special guest” without a time limit on blu12’s stage!
