Cheerioh!

I walk into a room, shake hands with the doorman and say hello. At the end of the room I leave it with an inconspicuous bow to the gatekeeper and slowly let the door close behind me, without ever having heard it click into place.

If this room is our life, I feel as if I have already lived a whole one, completed it and am now standing beyond it. However, I am still alive.

jumping into the great beyond

I questioned everything and ultimately made the decision to jump off the train. But have I already completely left the train? Am I still stuck somewhere? Am I perhaps flying out of the train in slow motion – idling, so to speak – and the impact is imminent? Or is it all just a fantasy?

This is what the great beyond must feel like, the journey of the time traveler, the presence for a photon of light. So am I free-falling into the unknown or am I swinging on a vine through the gorge up to new peaks?

Everything that feels certain culminates in the prospect that everything will soon come to an end or a new beginning, with “soon” being a flexible term in this case.

blu12 – Live Performance Architect

My new “Live Performance Architecture” project, however, is much more tangible. It is the consequence of my previous work and tries to skillfully bundle my skills. Whether I am a pioneer or just a dreamer in a lost world remains to be seen.

So feel free to watch the accompanying trailer and enjoy the compilation of some blu12 impressions.

For many, art is the last resort, the only truth or the path to follow after all other paths. However, I don’t think that matters at all. Much more exciting is the question of how art becomes a plausible route for us through the cities of modern society without getting lost in irrelevant side streets.

With that in mind, I greet you from somewhere beyond the suburbs …
