With a squeaking cardan shaft, flapping V-belt & low sun over a 40% scree gradient down towards the sea …
… on such “paths” there is often no turning back – so it’s a bit like everywhere else in life. And yes, we touched down and yes, there was a more relaxed way, but you often only know that afterwards.
But don’t worry, I’m not developing into an off-road blogger (even if the wheels look a bit like it), because I don’t have the right tires and the necessary ground clearance!
To summarize briefly: the cardan shaft squeaked really badly, the refrigerator made alien-like noises, the new underbody wax is certainly no longer perfect and the V-belt looks like it is ready for retirement. Four workshops and a number of bumps later: the cardan shaft has „recovered“, the fridge is quieter than ever, the car is in top condition overall and we are right by the sea – much better than Netflix and chips!
Meanwhile, a new episode of my “Paradise Express” was created, which is completely different from the previous ones and in which you can see and hear my new drum – on one of the most beautiful coasts of Sardinia.
What comes with storms, wind and rain? Clearly: big waves! You’re rarely in the right place at the right time if you just sit at home (that’s probably a bit like playing the same lottery numbers over and over again). Accordingly, we were lucky to catch a day with grandiose waves, on which the following photo was taken:

Every month there is my very personal point of view at this point: today the view of the Mediterranean Sea near Bosa in Sardinia. I have always been fascinated by small and large waves, how they hit the most diverse coasts and how each one is different and unique. Just observing the sea is both incredibly grounding and wonderfully uplifting for me – to see something flowing continuously, shining in detail and yet working as a whole.

The view you see in the photo above from our roof terrace/stage is exactly what I have at this moment as I write here (just one floor down). You don’t hear much more than a little lapping of the waves and the wind. The water is crystal clear and regularly attracts anglers and snorkelers. The days seem to fly by, also because it is already getting dark at 5 p.m.
My biggest project is still focusing a little bit more on the process than just the goal every day. Because no matter how nice a goal is that you have reached, it is usually the circumstances and the ways to get there that are remembered. No matter where you are, no matter what you’re doing, it’s damn important that you’re comfortable with the circumstances. Because no holiday can compensate for a grueling everyday life.
Finally, a little foresight:
In recent years we (mitossi + blu12 + artista = touring artists) have increasingly asked ourselves the question: How can we reconcile a more active lifestyle with more travel, adventure and challenges with our art? From among many ideas, one concept is slowly emerging that not only brings all our projects together, but can also be implemented on the go in almost any location. It’s (surprise!) our Mitossi Radio Show. The concept: An entertaining auditory show where all projects find a stage. Included: Topics about us as touring artists, life on the go & independent work, professional interjections from Artista, Rock’n’Roll from Ms. Italia & Mr. Rockalicious, as well as live music from me/ blu12. In the future, other artists will also have a stage in the Mitossi Radio Show and the Mitossi Radio Show itself will be live on the stage.
