The time has come. I left my registration address, which is still mandatory in Germany, behind me and stowed everything important in less than 8m² in order to travel after the summer with it. But it’s not just about summer, nor about travel, nor about other new adventures on the road. This time it’s about more. It is about a long overdue upheaval, a profound change.
Everyone knows it, be it a resolution to exercise more or any other good habit: lasting change is hard. I’ve been preparing for this for years now, I’m practically in the middle of the process, but despite several attempts I haven’t managed to let go.
But maybe it’s just a whole backpack full of conditioning and comfort zones that’s giving me a hard time. It’s just comfortable to stay where you already know everything and somehow get by.
Laptop, guitar and the ocean
Actually, it’s not that difficult. You just have to let go of everything that someone has told you and open yourself up to completely new paths. Even if it has already been extensively scientifically proven that we like to follow the same well-trodden paths, endless unknown possibilities open up in any direction.
I knew all of that beforehand and also that we all only have a limited amount of time. So I packed the most important things together: guitar + technology, laptop and the most beautiful route to the ocean.
Paradise Express & Rehearsal Time
Yes, the next episode of Paradise Express is a long time coming – it’s just been too busy for that lately. But I’m already looking forward to finally playing the Endless Sunset Stage again. After all, what is now beginning is a longer rehearsal time. This includes both the music and blu12 as well as the mitossi show.
In short: leaving everyday life behind and concentrate 100% on our two most important stage programs.

Every month there is my very personal point of view at this point: today the view of the Atlantic in Brittany. By the way, you can see more shots of this place in Paradise Express – Episode 2.
News in short:

blu12 backstage journal
Just a side note for today: whatever you decide to do, something will always come up. But that’s no reason not to do it. Before the last tour, several projects were unfinished, a spring on the wagon broke and I got sick. Before the current tour, not all things were crossed off the to-do list either, there was a demand for back taxes, a warning notice and I got sick. Now I’m on the road and I’m fine – that’s life.
With this in mind: we’ll read each other in exactly one month when „6, drugs & rock’n’roll? We rock all 12!“ is back.
