Today: The month of blu12
It’s no secret: June is THE month of blu12 because it’s my birthday month. In addition, June is one of the most beautiful months for me: the weather is great, events take place outside and there are the longest days of the year!
In addition, this is the 10th issue of my “new” newsletter and therefore time for a few very small innovations – do you notice them?
There are a lot of new things anyway – especially videos. I’ve been reviving my YouTube channel a little for a month now. On the one hand there is of course my new format “Paradise Express” – the podcast show, now with the second episode (just click on the photo below!). The first trailer for the “Endless Sunset Stage” turned out really great, of course complete with blu12 music.
So I would say the resolution to put more music in the newsletter was a success. The first tour this year, which took us to Brittany in France, was just as successful. And if you want to know what I was up to there – you can find that on my YouTube channel as well.
But the best thing is: next week we’ll be back on tour – even if not quite as long. Also coming up: a blu12 appearance at one of the largest trade fairs in Germany, for an international company. There might be more about that in my blog soon – let’s see.
blu12 perspective
Every month there is my very personal point of view at this point: today the view of the English Channel on the Opal Coast. The quote is an excerpt from the song „The spark“. I have the feeling that this song, like its title – the spark – sparks new thoughts and associations in me every day and is a bit representative of my state of mind at the moment. If you want to know how the song sounds – I play it in the current Paradise Express episode.

What am I doing all day? What’s new & what does that mean for you?
Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France – it was our longest tour so far. And if we hadn’t had any firm bookings back home, we definitely wouldn’t have come back. For me, being on the move means freedom. On the road I have the feeling of living properly, of finding inspiration and often feel more at home than in my own four walls. On the way you see and experience so much that you get a completely new sense of time. Sometimes I think back to moments that could have been at least two weeks ago and were only yesterday. The moment I’ve really arrived in the life on the road, I feel how gradually so much ballast falls off me and so many things suddenly seem plausible and possible. Suddenly I’m playing at a bar by the sea, spending the night with strangers and seeing my first sunrise over the sea. Just the feeling I get while writing these lines is great. It’s hard to imagine what it would be like if I were on the go all the time. What would be the result? Where would it take me? Maybe to a place where I shoot a trailer video for a mobile stage during sunset under the amazed eyes of passers-by? Right there – that’s exactly where it took me!
And the beauty of it is that you are part of this journey! Be it via this newsletter, via my YouTube channel or live at a concert on site, because everything I experience flows into me and my music, where it is celebrated with every performance.
