The stage is set

The stage is set…

… at least almost! Finally the wooden floorboards are on the roof and the stage can be walked on. In theory, we can start rocking. However, a few essential parts are still missing so that the stage really becomes an “endless sunset stage”. First, of course, the shield. I simply ordered one more plank to engrave the lettering on the same wood.

In addition, the following parts are still missing:

  • a railing as protection so that I don’t fall down one floor during the ecstatic playing,

  • Attachment points for lights to stage the whole thing accordingly,

  • the completion of the microphone stand holder, which you can already see in the photo.

Either way, the stage will probably not be finished until June 2022, as the entire roof construction will come down from the roof once more in about two months to paint the roof and, above all, to oil the wooden platform. While the wood is currently still quite light colored, it will then get a rather dark wood tone, which I am very excited about.

the stage is powered up

In the meantime, the new 12V on-board network is largely complete, so that the self-sufficient power supply for the stage is already working. And thanks to solar panels and the sun, the whole thing is almost completely CO2-neutral, or at least sustainable.

So stay tuned for the upcoming updates on the stage – especially the first shooting photos, which will probably be on display here by the end of March!
